You cannot trademark a clothing line. You can trademark a brand name or logo. Have you tried submitting an application to the US Trademark Office?

We trademarked our name and logo. We used Josh Gerben a lawyer out of DC but it was easy to do and he is on the internet you can also call him and he will call you back if he doesn't answer.
I just put mine in online today.
Really easy - no lawyer needed, just a couple of online forms.
Do a check first to see if the name has been registered in the class you want (class 25 for t-shirts, I think), then fill in the form, add proof of use (if you have already used it, if not, go for the intended use application) and bob's your mother's brother, trademark application done!
