Looking for someone to assist me in figuring out exactly how to do an applique patch for the front of a hat. I have drawings x5 and am sort of new. Im so close to getting this correct,im curious, does the curve of the front of the hat effect the sizing. Also keeping in mind that this is an oval shape. I have others to try and tackle but figured id start here. If anyone could be of some help id really appreciate it.
Thanks

I have never done an applique on a cap and my first thought was that yes you would need to consider the curve of the cap. But, then in think about appliques I have seen, they are flat before they go on the cap. So, I'm guessing the curve of the cap doesn't matter. You just have to have a way to secure the applique to the cap (temporary spray adhesive) before stitching or heat pressing so the applique doesn't move out of position.
