Hello. I'm totally new to this forum and not totally sure how to use it.

Anyway I'm a Graphic designer based in Newcastle, Australia and I just made up a design I want to get printed, and have no idea where to start.

I made up a mock-up in Photoshop and been showing boutiques and shops around to see if anyone is interested, and I have already got many requested and orders. The only problem is I don't know where it will be cheapest for me to get my tees printed.

Because the pattern are around the neck (inspired my my Nordic culture) I need a manufacture who can do screen printing/digital print before the sew the garment together. Because its supposed to be a hole sleeve around the neck (same design back and front, attached on the top)

Im looking to get around 400-800 pieces printed, but I would like to get samples before I order that many. Will most manufactures do that?

What I need:

- I want to print my tees on 100% cotton with water-based(soft feel at least)
- I want to be able to order a wide range of sizes xs + plus size tees.
- I want to be able to get them printed on different colored tees and where they can change the color on my pattern.

Anyone who knows about any good manufacture in China, Taiwan ect. Which you have had a good experience with? I really need help in this wide jungle off t-shirts!

Hi Berga,

this is bill, nice to meet you here, and great post there. Actually, i learnt my english from Norwegian teachers, 2 of them come back to Norway to creat their new career, the one left in China.

I think you would go about it the same way we would here in the US. For that number of pieces, you should be able to find a contract printer in Australia. You could also find a company to relabel the t-shirts. Those numbers are not what a company in China (or other commercial garment manufacturing hub) would be interested in.

Usually you don't get a sample of your actual design in screen printing. You can ask for samples of garments they have printed to see the quality of their printing.

I sure you can setup wholesale accounts to buy blank garments wholesale. And as I mentioned, you mostly likely do have relabel companies in Australia as well.
