Need to decompress a file
Received an AI file that I am trying to open in Corel 14. When I import, I get an error message saying that the file needs to be resaved in an noncompressed form. Is there someone out there who can send me in the right direction? I do not know what version of AI the file was created in.

Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction! I was able to read this to the graphic artist and got the issue fixed quickly. Thanks again!
Incidentally, you can usually open AI files with Acrobat reader and save a pdf copy that can be opened in Corel.
