Hello,

Again, i am so sure that this is not the forum to ask this question, but my bad, i don't know whom to ask this. Please bear with me for that first of all.

I am planning to send my screen printed posters (110lbs card stock) using mailing tubes. I understand that i have to use kraft paper to roll it. But i don't know what kind of paper to place on top of the print to avoid it form getting scratches?

Is it Tissue paper sheet? and any specific brand?

Also i don't know where i can get those sheets/roll of the above. I have visited Staples and Michaels but they don't know what i am expecting and showing some other products.

I really appreciate any help!

Thanks!

You could check Uline.com. Maybe they have something.

If these are art quality posters for framing, make sure what you use is archival (acid free.) Collectors are picky about that and it's especially important for the substrate you print on.

Thanks a lot VaporApparelSC & Ripcord for your timely help :)

based on your suggestions i have found that I can use either one of the below.

Archival Tissue Papers
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/762132-REG/Archival_Methods_45_2436_45_2436_Archival_Tissue_Pack.html

Glassine Paper
https://www.uline.com/BL_1973/Glassine-Paper?keywords=glassine+paper+sheets

Both the above are mentioned as acid-free and ideal for preserving and protecting original art.

I will try Glassine paper this time.

I really appreciate your help guys!

We ship all of our posters/art prints by placing them in a large open-ended poly bag, then slowly rolling it (being careful not to crease them) and slide the rolled-up print in a kraft tube that is at least 3"-4" wide.
Then you just nicely tape up the end caps and put on your shipping label, and you're set!
