Need some first print advice

I did my first test print the other day and it turned out pretty good, but I noticed after I washed it the ink seemed to fade pretty good. It was black ink on a white shirt, only a test shirt from the dollar store. I flooded the screen and then cleared it and then cured it with the flash dryer on 325 for about 45 seconds. Is it the shirt, did I not put enough ink down, not cure it properly? Anybody have any advice I'd really appreciate it. Thanks

are you using plastisol or waterbased inks?

If you are using plastisol, sounds like it wasnt cured correctlly, how are you curing?

try for a lil longer but not to long or u will burn the shirt
