I have improvised with a sheet of glass, some weights and a piece of foam covered plywood. Then took the screen outside in the sun to burn it.

Works great unless you have half tone dots or fine detail as the sun is an excellent point light source.

That is what I think...you should try to just use some weights and see if you are able to burn the screens yourself. Just get something like a board and put some something soft like foam on the screen side.
