Ok, first off, I'm working in Illustator just so everyone knows.

I'm trying to figure out what all needs to be done for it to be screenprint ready. Is it as simple as doing the live trace and then saving it as an .EPS? Or is there more to it?

Also, which is easier and produces better quality, Illustrator? Or Coreldraw?

Thanks.

If it is a single color simple design, it may well be that simple.
Multi color design, haftone, photo realistic probably not.

Personal preference. Both very good. Corel, from reading here and other forums, appears to be easier to learn to use.

Coreldraw is easier to learn, and more geared towards the needs of screen printers. If your design is more than 1 color, make sure you use Pantone colors on your vector shapes/art, so that you can print the separations. I'd be more than happy to explain things further if you want. Let me know.
