Hi, so i have a problem i don't know how complex or stupid it is, but the thing is that when i print with presentation paper matte in photoshop paper options my prints come out perfect (when is a photography) but when is a design the black comes out with a tint of brown or reddish.
and when i choose premium presentation paper matte the black comes perfect but when i do the sublimation it's super dark, i have tried pretty much every combination, please help!

Hi, thanks for the reply, my printer is an Epson Artisan 1430
i bought the inks and the paper from a local vendor, i asked for the icc profiles for the inks but they never replied so i downloaded one i found for the epson artisan 1430 that worked for me (kind of)
temp and times are 190°c and 8 minutes (3d vacuum machine)

i'm attaching my printing settings if that helps, also i save the files as png and i use sRGB as color space when doing the images, but when printing i use Adobe RGB

That's better.
I use a press not 3d, the phone cases I press are basically the aluminium insert, and that only takes 60 seconds at 190c. blacks going brown are a definite sign of overcooking.
Mike Parrish will probably be able to tell you if your using the correct settings for an Epson, I wouldn't know because I use a Ricoh.
Hopefully he'll reply soon.

the problem is that the blacks are brown when i print, so even before pressing i know the blacks are not correct.
ok thank you, hopefully he will.
If the blacks are brown looking out of the printer then that would be a profile issue or your not selecting a true black in your color selector.
What companys ink?

We print on Epson printers all day and black should be blackish color.
Not like pigment ink black, but black nun the less.

the ink says PC systems and printers, it's a local ink shop but they never answered when i ask for the icc profile.
the thing is when i print selecting presentation paper matte on the settings the black on an image i design comes brown but if i print a photography it comes out perfect, and if i select premium presentation paper on the settings then the black comes great but when i do the pressing the cases are too dark.

Well the easiest way is of course a profile, and unless your going to make your own... I can offer some advice that should get you by.

Make a color chart (search for color charts online if you dont want to make your own) and print that out and press it. Then you can look at the color swatches and pick a color that works for you. Then you can use that same chart to select the corresponding color and design your art.

Hope that helps you.
