Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum and it seems like everyone is very helpful here which is why I chose to post some questions here. I am in the process of finishing paperwork for a small business I am opening up. I work full time so my time is limited for extensive research. My business is mainly apparel such as tshirts, sweatshirts, and things like that. One of my mainstream accounts will be hockey jerseys. I already have everything set up for my embroidery needs but I need some info on screen printing. I am looking for advice on what heat press, printer, computer graphic program, ink, and tranfer paper would be best for me to use. Screen printing is the only thing I am not familar with but I have the opportunity to produce anywhere from 2000 to 4000 screen printed jerseys a year so I can not pass this up. I will be printing about 200 to 400 jerseys at a time over the year. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.

That's not screenprinting, that's heat transfer printing. They're completely different things.

Do you know which it is you're wanting to do?

Both quantity printing and hockey jerseys suggests you do actually want screenprinting, but it's a whole different thing you'd be getting yourself into.

Depending on the price point you need to achieve, and what kind of designs you need to provide, plastisol transfers might also be an option for you.
