1) Download R1900/2880 service manual.
2) Disassembly everything but leave carriage with HEAD, CR motor, CR encoder, CR sensor etc, APG system, pump and capping station.
3) Cut unnecessary parts of frame.
4) Rest is up to you. You can do it in so many ways.
Just think and choose the best solution that fits your needs.
Personally I choose CNC construction profiles for frame.
Linear guide and chain belt to drive the bed. In this approach you can buy everything you need in one shop with CNC parts.

on my epson r2880. i am up to ASP join. that part cut out and join together. now i need some info where to put it back together and where play the PW or PE sensor for ROLL MOD print.
now everything setup and only one more thing left and brother me. the asf motor power wire too short to connect to the board. what should i do now . cut it and solider it ? or try to find a adapter. THE power wire from ASF motor.

i can place the pe sensor to the orginal place or under the board that not gonna bother me. and i connect the board direct to the driver bar. just waiting for that power to connect and i am FIRE UP that badass. R2880

anyone gonna any idea if i can cut it and soilder the wire make it longer or i need to get a adapter ?

THX.

You can solder longer wire to the motor or use something like that: CLICK
I you need a longer trailing cable you can find it as spare parts for other (bigger) ploter.

Please help me!
just follow the R1900 step. R2800 and r1900 they are the same printer, no different to me. i think just the chip and print head different for what i know. same build so u can follow the r1900.

P.s dont use skate roll mode . they skip . and other member john help me. that told me just put the bar to the board no need skate roll. now everything working fine. only one problem was everything after the print job done i get the orange light blanking. and i have to manual to push the board back pass the PE sener and hit the botton on the contorl board to clear the orange light blanking. i cant find any help to auto roll back after the print.....

any question feel free to ask . i will try my best to help.
