Hi Everyone, Thanks for taking time to read my post. I bought my Epson F2100 last week. Before I bought this machine, I spoke to multiple people (EZ,It Supplies,Melco) and read through this forum and even went to couple of trade shows , Every one told me how great this machine is and how everybody else is using Epson's Print head and all that. Guess what, i am already having issues with this machine. I am getting Nozzle Misses every time i do the nozzle check, and i have to do this Medium/Heavy Cleaning every day and spend more than an hour before i get all the nozzles back. The machine is installed in basement and the humidity level is 48%

My dealer tells me that i shouldn't have to do the cleanings and asked me to talk to epson, But epson tells me this is normal with F2100 and the dealer shouldn't have raised my expectations with this machine.

Another issue i am having is when i print on white shirt, my black color is stepping on the yellow color, so i am not sure if this is normal or what. I used Blot reduction, it made a little difference but the printing time increases, since it lays down the yellow color first and then put other colors on top of it.

Below is the picture i took after the nozzle check this morning. If anyone can help me out or give me some suggestion, i'd really appreciate that.

I would call Epson and insist that they come out to repair your new machine. At worst, you should only need to do a light head clean at the start of the day to get clear nozzles. If they do not take action I would contact your reseller to have them speak with their contacts at Epson.

if the nozzles clear when you do a clean but then start missing after running a few shirts then check your head cap (head cap clean on maintenance panel). We had the same issue and we found that we had build up on the head cap which prevented a good seal when pulling ink through. If that does not work it is likely that your maintenance assembly (pump cap station) needs to be replaced which is a warranty repair.
