Your reply is very much appreciated.
Thank you.
Pressing polyester material is tricky. Shine from the press is common. There are tips and tricks. Sometimes using a cover sheet helps. I heard others use a pillow chase or other type of cloth as a cover sheet. Washing the garment after pressing may help if this is for personal use.
You have 2 squares.
A small one from the transfer film, and a larger one from the heat plate.
Using a soft edge pillow will eliminate the large box and reduce the visibility of the small one.
other alternatives are:
a) use cotton shirts only, or
b) use low heat transfers.
BUT ... why use supacolor for this?
This job looks like the perfect match for print-cut vinyl.
Siser Hi-5 for example can be pressed at 250F, avoiding the heat marks altogether.
you will have to do some testing on pretty much every new garment that you use to dial in the settings
like mentioned above a pillow, a cover sheet of parchment that is larger than the heat platen, less pressure/time/temp,
until you can get a press that is properly adhered
