Hi i got order and i need help, i have a design that i print in a opaque paper. My question is can i used magic mask in a opaque paper or its only for eco-solvent paper. I just bought magic mask and used in blue grid paper but when i pull up the magic mask it also pull up some portion of the ink and the opaque is become sticky. Do you know any tape that i can used in opaque paper?

I already buy this tape and try to experiment it by myself. This magic mask can also used in opaque paper and you can reuse it only problem i found is after i press and take out the magic mask the design the design become sticky. I dont why but some portion of the tape adhesive is transfer in the design that why it become sticky.

Specialty supplies sells Inkjet Colorjet III opaque transfer which I am told is the same as blue grid. It does have blue grid on the back.

Anyway here is what is recommend top appy the opaque:

4075 High Tack Conform Application Tape with RLA/2614 - 4075

Also it is mentioned in the instruction for applying the opaque in this link:

ColorJet III InkJet Transfer Sheets - CJ3

I bought the opaque and a 2 inch wide of the application tape just to try them. I used the tape on vinyl and it worked fine. Have not used it with opaque. I don't have a need for it yet. Most opaque design I have done are rectangular shape.

BTW Colorjet is OK it is not as stretchy as Ironall for dark. It is thinner and less hand than Alpha Gold. Also like Ironall it has less vibrancy with inkjet ink.
