Hi guys, I don't touch halftone work as I am not at that level yet however I have a friend that wants me to have a go at one of his designs.
Could someone please provide me with advice on how to set this up through photoshop or what avenue to take?
This one to me is confusing as I don't know how to split the green from the black.

Here is the design... http://s2.postimg.org/nhojc42op/FLURO_GREEN_CLOSEUP.png

Thanks.

Photoshop, change to cmyk mode, then select color range, save selection for each color, print. Google it, checkout ryoets early video tutorials, get seps studio, email me and I'll do it for you.
Thanks alot for the offer, however through some trial and error I think I have figured it out.
One question I still have is what lpi and mesh would you recommend for this image?

That's up to you and what kind of equipment you have. Some people can hold 65 lpi easily and some struggle with 45 lpi. It all depends on your emulsion, exposure unit, ect. Then it goes to whether or not your press will hold registration enough for smaller dots.

Basically if you take the lpi that your art is done at and times it by 4.5 or 5 that will give you the mesh count that you need to hold the dots
