I think it looks nice and clean
well your business partner needs to understand that he's not selling tshirts to himself, so people may or not be critical about it but that font is overused through your page. So if he's dead set on having that as the font maybe use it in the banner, but not the rest of the site..Yeah I see what you mean about it looking compressed. I was thinking about chopping some of the gray sides off to expand it a bit. The font wasn't my pick. I thought it was too westerny but my business partner/artist is just crazy about it for some god awful reason.

Actually a good friend of mine is offering to do our site for free, although I do intend to pay him for his troubles. Not sure what cart he intends on using, but I do know he programmed his own so he just may use that. He did mention though that using those uncommon fonts would hurt our SEO so I want to get away from using them.yes.. you should have all banners on websites no larger than 800 px because of those people living in the dark ages.
I do like the look though.. Graphical borders make a site look really unique.. I do not like the overuse of that font though.. ALso, since its an uncommon font, it will HAVE to be an image, which is bad for SEO.
Do you mind if i ask what shopping cart you are using?
