I'm needing advice as to what would be the best way to get this image printed in 2 colors on sapphire shirts. I use corel x4 and a manual press.

any chance you have a bitmap editor like CorelPaint or AdobePhotoshop? I'd recommend a simulated process separation for this one, a bitmap editor would be more suited for the task.

I do have CorelPaint. As far as the simulated process, don't you have to have rip software to do that. I use a post script enabled laser printer so I thought I didn't need rip.

that is correct, you don't need a RIP because you have PostScript, it is a RIP.
the reason you need a RIP is to create the halftone dot pattern, PostScript will do that for you. Even without that, it's still possible to do halftones without a RIP, you can create the pattern in Photoshop
