Hi all,

I don't want to get a cutter, and so, I've read about self-weeding paper that can be used on black tees.
I'm in Canada, I'm new at this and, of course, don't want to pay a fortune.
I've read many posts but, many contradictions...can some of you offer me links and especially cons and pros...?

Thanks,

P!erre!

There are no miracle methods.
Most of us use multiple methods, or a combination of, because each one has its pros and cons. Picck one and accept its limitations. Later you can expand to another one...etc

I've read about OKI printers quite a lot and because I'm starting off, I'd rather pay 1000$ once than buy something that just won't cut it. Of course, OKI cost much more than 1000$...

That will be OKI white toner printers of course.
Around $4,000 for A3 size, and another $1,000 for a good swing away heat press. Cheap ones don't work well with this method, and you don't want to be wasting transfer paper, at $3 per sheet.

Hello,
I've read so many posts in here, in the last 2 days!!!!!
Oki will kill me!
So, I've realized that if I do have a laser printer, I can still use self-weeding paper. My limit will be not being able to print white on black or dark shirts. I think I can live with this.
If the business doesn't lift, loss is smaller. If business lifts - it's ok!
I really want to thank everyone who's been so patient with me!

It also depends on which laser printer you purchase. OKI/iColor only support or supply toner for the printers they sell. Ghost sells white toner cartridges for other printers, you might want to consider buying one that they support to allow you the option down the road.
