Hello all,

Sorry I know there has been a few questions on this latly however i have looked and cant find the info I need.
Basically Ive been trawling ebay for a vinyl plotter that will be a good start up but have the required features for future growth. I have a budget of around £500 and would prefer to get something around A3 size and with an optical eye.

Am i being unrealistic in thinking I can get this all for around £500?

Also how many people here actually use a cutter with an optical eye for doing things like ink jet transfers etc? Perhaps I could get by without this feature?

There are 2 different ones on ebay that have the specs you're after. One is £199 and the other is £299.

I don't have the optical eye feature but then again I don't really do that many transfers as I don't like them, you have to think what your main business is going to be.

By the way i can't vouch for either machine as I am not familiar with them!

UPDATE
decided against the cheaper ones and just brought a new Graphtec CE5000, delivery tomorrow
too bad i cant afford a heat press now....
