hi guys,

i would like to get an opinion from someone that knows what the best t-shirt supplier is that can provide me with wholesale, affordable t-shirts. I heard from different people to start out that your probably going to get a t shirt wholesale for $2 to $3 per shirt, I need some insight on this and who's the best supplier to do business with.

Thanks

What type of T's are you looking for? General purpose, fashion forward, earth-friendly, something else? What's your location? Will you be ordering other types of apparel? Its helpful to use a supplier that's a one day ship, will give you case pricing and has a free shipping policy. Once you decide make sure you rceive information about upcoming sales. Plan your ordering to take advantage of free shipping.

i'm not really sure at the current moment. Do you have a package that you can offer that have a little bit of everything you make? sort of like samples? My site hasn't been created yet and it might be a little while before it is LIVE. I just wanted to get an idea ahead of time. I think women are going to be mainly buying my merchandise, so that should narrow it down some. The T- Shirts have got to be good quality and the shirts have got to work good with my heat press machine so it doesn't fade because some of my customers may wear them quite often. I live in the state of AL. Do you have a website that I can browse through? How much do you charge?

I would recommend starting with one of the larger distributors because they will have lots of brands and varieties and many offer free shipping over a certain amount. They probably have a local rep that could come in and see you, or you could travel to their warehouse and look through their showrooms. Some distributors with locations near you: Broder Bros (in Duluth, GA just outside of Atlanta), TSC Apparel (south of Atlanta in Perry with an office north of Atlanta in Kennesaw) and Staton (Memphis, TN). I'm sure there are more; those are just the first three that came to mind.

Good luck!

99% of my sales now are through the internet so I don't carry samples but yes, when I started locally I had samples. Now customers have the option of purchasing samples.

You might want to check out the Bella line for women's T's. S&S www.ssactivewear.com carries a lot of Bella styles. They ship from Illinois which is probably a two day ship for you. S&S carries a nice range of apparel with an emphasis on fashion forward styles.

I haven't used a heat press but one thing I would want to check into is if you can press ribbed knits and have them stay looking good.

My site is in my signature. Prices will vary according to your particular market and location.
