Naugahyde Material

Wondering if there is transfer that will work on rather thin naugahyde type material. We did a test with JPPS transfer, but the material pretty much melted under the pressure and heat. Tried different heats and press times. Even though the 'melting' wasn't quite as bad, the image does not transfer.
Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful

Have you tried vinyl? Some of them can be used under really low heat.
