My white ink isn't printing at all. First i had to repair my RipPro software on my computer. Then when I try to print the white isn't printing. I have a big job due in the next few days, i was hoping to get started with time to spare but my printer is just not cooperating. What could it be? Why would the white ink not print? We try to be very careful with this machine...

Have you done a nozzle check? Are they showing up or missing.
Try to rule out nozzles vs Rip
I agree, the nozzle checks are vital and key information on whats going on with the printer.

Well after 20 head cleans and 20 nozzle checks, the white is now working.

that's crazy.. head cleans and nozzle checks aren't always enough.
Waste of inks absolutely
Waste of inks absolutely
I absolutely agree on the waste of ink. We went to the training and applied all the maintenance we learned... We've had the machine for just over a month and didn't know what else to do. What was an alternative?
Its the heat and or humidity we have the same problem with our viper, check filters periodically. I hate the thing to be honest the waste of ink we went through just to get it to print was awful
It does sound like you might have low humidity. If I were you I would keep a hygrometer near your machine and always try to keep your humidity at around 50% or higher. I always had a humidifier in the room with the machine and if it got to low, I would run the humidifier until the humidity got up above 50% before printing.
