My new threads will not post! What am I doing wrong?!

Getting fed up of writing out big long messages asking for help from the community only for my threads to never appear!

The section of the forum in question is the 'heat transfer' section.

3 weeks ago I made a new thread which never appeared on the forum. I was simply left with a screen saying the thread would be posted once approved by a moderator....

Well, 3 weeks later and I'm still waiting.

I even posted a help question to the forum mods asking what had happened to my post, yet never received a reply to that either.

Yesterday I typed out my questions again, only to AGAIN receive the notice that my thread would be posted once approved my a forum mod!!??

Obviously I'm missing something here, but what is it?

Appreciate any help?

Very odd, this one showed up so it's not that you are not able to post, just something wrong with your posts.
Did they have a title?
Any hyperlinks or attachments?
Maybe they were too long and got caught in spam filter?
Try again with a shorter message

Hi, thanks for the response.

I actually just copy and pasted the text from the post I have been trying to make in here.

When I hit submit it again tells me my post needs to be approved by a mod first.

It must have something to do with it's length then, I'll try to reduce it's size.

Thanks for the pointer.

Didn't think I would be penalised for showing I had tried to do some research and mentioned this in my post, thought this better instead of just asking a question of 'I want to start a printing business, what do I need'

Ok so I've established that you can't make really long posts, otherwise the forum basically returns an error and says the post won't appear until approved by a mod.

However, you CAN make a small post and then just keep editing this post over and over until you have ALL of the text you originally wanted in it.

Which I've now done.

I am having the same issue. I sent a note last night to the Contact Us link under the Site Navigation options for assistance. Still nothing.

You might be making a post that's considered too long, so I think they just scrap it as spam. They'll never approve it because they won't look at it.

Make a smaller post, then just add to it by editing it.

Oh and I used that CONTACT US button weeks ago, they never replied.

I will try again. Wonder how the attachment of 2 photo's effects the posting process? I attached photo's of a print for help too....

I just saw a post with 777 characters and spaces... 30 lines long. One day we too will be able to post with the Big Dogs...

This forum requires that you post here first, and introduce yourself. Now that you've done that, you should be able to post.
