My NeoTex & NeoSol Arrived at Last

After 3 weeks held up with British Customs I'm glad to say that my Neoflex system has finally arrived :)

All very solidly packed.

Just a few of the boxes

Before unpacking I did an unusual thing for me - I thoroughly read the build instruction :) and had a good night's sleep.

I did plan on building the Neoflex system in the sunshine on the pato but, the good ole British summer let me down - we've had torrential rain all day. So I took over the conservatory, a bit cramped with all the other printing equipment but it was okay.

The structural parts of the base

The brains of the unit - The base mainframe, the heaviect single component.

Shows the Neosol & Neotex

The process of assembling the base is quite straightforward, follow the instructions and you'll be okay. The one thing that's very evident is the good strength of the assembled base.

Ready for the base mainframe

More later - when I can find someone strong enough to help me lift it on :)

Congrats, customs can be a pain for sure. It looks like you got both the solvent and textile versions?
Congratulations! be sure to keep us updated with your experiences getting set up and printing....thanks for the pics, more please! LOL!

Morning Jerid

Yes, I seized the opportunity to purchase both NeoTex (textile) & NeoSol (solvent) printers. There was a specific reason for this but my plans did go a little 'pear shaped' :)

I was going to ask you Jerid - do you ever sleep ;)

haha, sometimes.... I know I have to work on that. I used to go to bed early and get up early, but with summer comes a lot of activities with the family and late nights. So I find myself staying up later than I ought!

As for your pear shaped plans, I wouldn't worry about it, I'm sure you'll find some good use for it.
Best wishes (here we'd say "in bocca al lupo" - "in mouth of the wolf").
Keep us informed and have a great business.
Congrats!! Keep us posted; I need to know if there is another "satisfied customer" thread

Oh, okay :)

Build finished and switched on

Justin, I spent a week with the guys from AA at the recent FESPA show in Munich - they're a great bunch and clearly believe passionately in their products. Is that positive enough :)

I'm finished for the day now and will wait 'til tomorrow to put the inks in. This might sound strange to many of you more experienced DTG'ers, I feel a little bit of 'fear'/apprehension for this next stage.

I know EXACTLY how you feel; so many machines into it, you start wondering when they are actually going to work right... When you plug one in and it actually DOES work right, the good vibes are unbelievable!!!

Hi

What did the Neoflex cost by the time all taxes were paid and it was delivered to your door?

It was delivered right to my door - taxes weren't to bad, less than I was expecting :)
