Our printer is based on the 4880 like the Viper and when we see the error it normally is because the paper sensors have been turned back on when they are supposed to be turned off. You will need to get into the Epson control menu and find the roll paper sensor and sheet paper sensor and turn them both off. Make sure to be in READY mode to surf the menu or if it still says load paper you will have to trick it by placing a piece of paper on the shirt board next to the print head then turn you printer off and back on again.

Hope this helps...

Best,

Everyone has been a big help. I am finall y up and running again. The remove paper error was somehow caused by the settings on the viper changing. You got me to how this happened but anyways as soon as they left I started printing on dark shirts and guess what the registration was way off. Apparently the belt slipped while the tech was there and he didn't check the registration. (To his defense he was new) It was easy enough to fix after Kenny helped me. Once again thanks for all of your input I feel like I'm always learning around here.;)
