My cs5 is acting strange!!

1037 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  abhobden
I have been using CS5 for the past 6 months with no issues, well , I don't know if something got changed or I am doing something wrong, but all of a sudden when I go to fill a layer, say filling an empty font character with a color the fill layer is completely fuzzy or rough around the edges?

I do this all day long as I make monogrammed items, and as of last night everything was perfect but now I go to fill the letters with color and they are nasty looking, can someone PLEASE TELL me what I am doing wrong or if there is something I need to change!

I included a picture of what it looks like now and what it used to look like

If you are just using the paint bucket to fill a white area with colour then its probably your tolerance setting, is that how you normally fill it?
I normally use the magic wand to select the inside of the letters then create a new layer and fill it.
If you want an exact fill of a color, I normally prefer using FILL command from the Edit menu (Shift+F5) just to be sure.
Same effect with the tolerance settings for the magic wand, something may have changed in that area.
