I create in Illustrator, export as .dxf, and then open the files in Graphtec Studio when I'm ready to cut.

PROBLEM: For the last week, if any of the artwork is circular or has curves (type, shapes, etc.) they display as jagged when opened in Graphtec Studio.

As soon as I figure out how to post photos I will. Ask as many questions as you want!

Few questions for ya:

Did it work properly before a week ago?

Have you changed any settings in either program?

Is it just displaying jagged or cutting jagged also?

Talked to a friend. Apparently with .dxf files, you have to tell it to arc? lines to not see this. (My cutter runs out of AI, but I am at his shop quite a few times a week and he runs Graphtec Studio, I just don't use his cutter, just his Roland Printer Cutter)

See if you can use another generic file type like .eps to also run the program.

Last night my computer shut down on me in the middle of replying to your first message, but that was a happy accident! Reading your newest message this morning, I saved my designs as .eps, and they worked PERFECTLY when opened in Graphtec Studio!

Good to hear it worked! I tend to use .eps files when going between programs as almost every program opens them, and I have never had data issues.
