Hi guys,

I have open up a Basic cafepress shop, and will soon upgrade to a premium shop.

[email protected]

Currently, i only have the basic logo on the shop, and would like to find out with the seasoned player here whether i'm doing anything wrong? I mean is there something that i have not put my attention to?

Thanks for the feedback.

looks ok to me.

with a name like purpledotz

I though I would be checking out a Trippy type site "puple micro-dot, acid drug from the 70's", well the Bulls Eye shirt is kinda trippy. You cant go wrong with Cafe Press.

You may have something there dude. :)
Thanks T-BOT, everytime i post something, you are always there to reply, if not the first one to reply :D

The one with a solid Dotz/circle, is the basic design. Just some basic thoughts and ideal for the logo:

1) 2 elements on the logo , "P" and "dot/circle"
2) "P" will take its current shape permanently, but the color in it will change from season to season. eg. it can be red or yellow in next season.
3) "dot" will use the color (dark purple) permanently, but shape will change, depending on the design/inspiration. eg. the bullseye and floral-inspired design.

I'm still working on my webpage, and other design. Hopefully i can get the shop up in the next 6 weeks.

Thanks again for the feedback, really appreciate it!
you see, now that you have told me about it from your artisc view as the designer. I love your site.:D

Its important that your audiance knows you, the artist. This is what makes artists stand out from one another....i think.

It's hard to say with just one logo in the shop.

I guess my only thing I would make sure is that you have a plan how to market your artwork to customers. How do you plan to advertise your artwork?

I would also write longer product descriptions that tell more about the design (like you did above) which will help the buyer decide to click that add-to-cart button.
