You don’t need to change the ink. It may take some trial and error to get the right color profile for mugs and t-shirts though.

If the printer is fitted OEM he would need to change inks.

Some people are not aware of how sublimation works,. He didn't state what ink he had, if he already had sublimation ink in his existing printer I doubt he would ask that question.

If you don't already have sublimation ink in the printer using regular inkjet inks for example original Epson inks ... then the answer is yes, to sublimate we use special inks from 3rd parties.

Assuming you are sublimation printing the mugs, then yes, your current printer will work fine for printing t-shirts, as long as they are polyester fabric t-shirts, and not cotton.

WOW. My bad, I read your post wrong, you do have sub inks in your printer. I'm sight challenged at times.

Yup, we are allowed 3 gaffes per month on this forum, I have used up 1.

This is a very forgiving forum, allowing 3 gaffes per month, some forums crucify you for 1 gaffe per year.
