Hi,
I'm in the process of buying a dtg printer and the MP5 seems very attractive to me.

Was wondering what some of you are able to do as far as daily production on both white and black t-shirts?

Also, do you think this machine is capable of heavy use on a daily basis?

I've seen the specs from the manufacturer, but I am wondering what people are able to accomplish with this machine in the real world.

Thanks!

Not much production from ours so far... only had it for a month and aren't advertising it yet due to so many problems. You need to allow at least a month and 3 ink sets for installation and troubleshooting requirements (cleans, maintenance etc).
yea 2 ink sets and still lots of problems :/
Just saw posts about the new brother and they seem to be getting good results straight out the box. I'm jealous. BUT there saying the machine requires a daily maintenance on white ink and spits out almost $7 worth of ink in the process. That's over $150 a month. Does anyone have any idea how much a clean head 1,2,&3 use on the mp5?

Well today we did 95, 2 sided dark shirts in 7 hours with a m5 that 13.5 a hour. We have done 135 light (2 sided at about 38 a hour) in the same time frame

Not bad at all! Wish I could get that. What size print?
Sticking my nose in.
We have neo flex. Avg 2 min a print cmyk full size, 4 min to 6 with white depending totally on design.
Way less time for LCD or outline art.
Spent private hour and half with brother. Still like neo better.
We use their white pretreat as well as dark and have a speed treated.
We only use highest resolution. 2 presses for ink curing.
I would not waste my money if i were you. We have had ours since the end of March and had nothing but problems out of ours. It will NOT print reds or a few other colors. We attended the classes thinking it was our lack of knowledge and came home not knowing anymore than before we left. We have spent so much money on ink and still have major issues. Tec support isn't the best either. If i were you i would keep exploring my options to find a better product.
Recieved samples and was very impressed.
One problem is i was supposed to recieve sample from a sprint and they are larger than 12 which I thought was the max size for a sprint.

Very interested in this mp5 for production and a neojet for quality.

Hope they get all the bugs out.
