Has anyone used MDP Supplies recently?

Ive placed an order with them of about £250. The order was placed last Tuesday, but still no delivery. No response to emails and no answer to the phone numbers.
Anyone used them and got their items lately?

Not impressed with the lack of contactability. If I had a job on a deadline waiting I would have been stuck or buying twice...

We use MDP every week, never have any problems calling them.

They have emailed me back now. I must have caught them at busy phone times (understandable, i did phone lunchtimes) but its still annoying it took this long to get an email response as you can responde at any time to emails.

Yep, When i did eventually get hold of them it was very fast and good service. It was indeed next day once we got sorted, just took about a week to get hold of them and they put no effort in (ie no response to emails) which is a bit of a downer. I will still use them again.

I often find just sending a reminder email the next day (if i havent had a response) is all thats needed to get a response. First impressions, they're a very good company.

If you want to email your billing postcode to me at gjones@mdpsupplies.co.uk or call me on 0151 334 2300 (working hours) and I will look into it personally to see what the problem was with this order (I'm one of the owners of MDP). We pride ourselves on getting orders out on next day delivery and if this didnt happen I can only apologise. With regard to the phones not being answered we very occassionally miss the odd call but we have 8 lines and if they are busy they get diverted to the next available MDP branch.

Can't praise these guys enough... Went there today to get robocutter pack (VERY good value, includes everything a n00b could need (bar the heat press, computer and printer..lol)..

Got some invaluable (patient) advice, a demo of the cutter, and a fair bit of encouragement in my new venture...

They're also very good for buying blanks from, as they don't insist on you buying 1000 same colour/same size blanks before they give you bulk discount... discounts start when you buy 5 blanks, then 10, etc, up to 20+.... that's good enough for me, especially as i simply can't buy massive amounts of stock..

I'd use them again in a flash, both for their product, but more importantly for their attitude...

I have used them for several years with no problems. I wish all suppliers were as efficient. Sounds like one of those times when the system has had a nervous breakdown but don't we all?

I use the Grangemouth branch and the guy's are really helpful. Nothing is too much trouble, including the hour it took to get the hartco to cut for a rhinestone template....

I've used MDP for some time now - never a problem, always on the phone right up to and past the 6 oclock deadline for next day shipping - the couriers they use are some times a bit cack though.

I have used them a number of times, for some reason they began to lack of good service,
I place an order yesterday over the phone, got packege next day but package was dameged(the box were mashed up/ripped and some t shirts were hanging out, there were a pack of t shirts missing, apparently they didn't have in stock and they charge me for that, no 1 contacted me to say they didnt have in stock wether I would like anything instead.and the FOTL SUPER PREMIUM the quality seem to be exactly as valueweight.i had to cancel the missing order and request the refund., they didnt eVen apologies. I dont think I'll use themagain,, very disappointed...they didnt eve email invoice as they usually do..

I've used them a few times (got my press and cutter there) with only one minor problem. I'd placed a next day delivery order for vinyl and it just disappeared from the system!! They arranged to send out a duplicate delivery which duly arrived one day later. More importantly, I was told to keep at no charge the original order if it ever arrived....which it duly did two days later.

I've used MDP Supplies loads of times and I've had no problems.
I've also been to their Glasgow branch a few times for last minute supplies and the staff have been really helpful. I don't normally comment here about suppliers but due to reading the negative comments about them, I felt I needed to highlight my positive experience of using MDP Supplies!
