is this done with opaqe tranfer paper? is the white that im seeing actually a cream? is this legal what this person is doing?

That's not a product photo, so it could be anything. It's could well be opaque transfer paper, and probably won't look like that in real life. It's highly unlikely to be a legal use of the image (I'd say definitely not, but how could I know for sure?).
