Can someone tell me if i need a RIP to print out monochrome designs for t-shirts.

Also, is there a way to print monochrome designs in Corel X6 without a RIP? Please advise.

I think it depends on the image... a monochrome bitmap is just a raster image. So if there are no gradients and your printer will print dark enough without a rip then Corel will print it just fine..

You basically only need a rip if you need to create halftones, or force your printer to print darker.

I may be wrong but if so, someone will correct me..
