Has anyone converted a regular flash dryer to forced air? I was thinking of getting an inexpensive flash unit, drilling holes, and add a computer fan.

The end product would look like this....

if by a regular flash you mean one with an IR Panel - this looks like a quartz flash from the pics(plus they indicate instant on). The wattage seems too low for a quartz flash of this size while the wattage is a little steep for an infrared panel - not so sure this lends itself to your dryer desires...though there are a lot of DIYers here - you'll probably hear from them !

I know this is an old post, but I have been thinking of doing the same thing. Did you ever get this to work?
