I've seen similar threads about this, but no answers for what I'm trying to do. Is there a way in Illustrator to relatively easily create colors that are composed of other colors? I have a 6 color design that I'd like to print using 5 inks. One of the six colors is brown, so I figure I can make a brown by using 10% tone of the yellow, 20% tone of the red and maybe a bit of something else. I don't want to print it CMYK because I think it will look better with solid colors (except of course for the one color that is a few layers of toned other colors). If anyone has any insight, please let me know. thanks.
