Hey guys,
me and 3 of my friends started our own clothing company this past summer and we are starting to work on our mission statement. my question is what does a good missions statement have for a clothing company? we promote local musical artist and skaters, bikers, etc. and our line is heavily influenced by those factors, just having trouble tying it all together. any help is appreciated
thanks

My advice, aside from not waiting almost a year to make a mission statement :p is to just be up front with what it is you guys are trying to do. Whenever I see a no-name brand put out some bull**** about "redefining t-shirt culture" or "creating a new paradigm in urban apparel" or things like that it just turns me off.

If you're up front and just say "we're a bunch of kids screwing around and having fun" people will see you're legit and aren't blowing smoke up their ***. If they don't like it, then they just weren't your demographic anyways.
