There are many completions in DTG world. Which is very good. However misleading end users are often happening.
Yesterday, I received one email with big lie from NeoNewbie.
Have to lie to sell is sad.

1. Parts not available to Epson
A: in USA end users can buy from Compass Micro - An Authorized Epson and Canon Printer Service Center : Home all day long. On any Epson printers. EU many more. Even on eBay.

2. Some of Epson printer manufacturing is not finished. Especially Epson 4880.
I am waiting for 1 40' container full(112units) from my friend in EU. I request yesterday. Not enough money not Epson don't have them. All NeoFlex trainees saw ceiling high stacks of 4880 in AA floor.

Two days ago Newest NeoFamily send me this email.

"From: Brad Belk
Company: Axiom. Brother and Epson 2000 dealer.
Date:02/19/2014 6:20 PM (GMT-05:00)
To: [email protected]

So it a new flex(NeoFlex) with the deep fried not the wide field.
Since Epson has come out with their own Garment Printer. They are discontinuing the ability of these small manufacturers to have access to epson parts (heads)... It really does not matter about a warranty when American(AA) can't buy the parts anymore.

I would be glad to let you actually speak to the epson rep to validate my statements.

Again... The print may look nice, but if you can't keep it fixed.. What happens.

I am concerned... But clearly this is your business decision... And I will let it go."

I would be surprised if Epson played this game. The printhead is still their aqueous go-to for hundreds of thousands of desktop printers.

Still, what's it cost to buy 3 heads for the future? It's cheap insurance.

Thanks for clearing that up Peter. It was a blast working with the Neo Family this week. We have already begun building the ink agitator system (Chicken Rotisserie based)- it will have a timer on it every night to agitate extra inks. It should have 16 slots- 8 extra inks- and 8 for printer inks. We will constantly work on engineering any improvements for everyday printer use. I will post on here if it helps others out. We are excited to start playing around with the printer.

Thanks again Neo!

Whats up with everyone with the new ink agitation stuff? lol. What happened to the old "shake your carts every day the old fashioned way"? I am not against it but just making sure there isn't some new ink formulation requiring constant agitation that I somehow missed.
I'm thinking that automated agitation will significantly reduce some clogs. Even if you agitate daily, the risk of there being small particles adhering to each other greatly increases the chance of losing a nozzle (or a channel) over time.

I love the idea of rolling the bottles automatically, too, and am looking into a similar solution on our end. Couldn't be that hard to whip together with all of the electronic geeks at our place.

Thanks guys. I am just now dipping into the the white ink side of digital printing... and man is it a lot more work. Anyway, I know the pretreat has to be shaken daily too. We may add room for the pretreat canister and pretreat gallon jug on the shaker as well. I want to minimize downtime and maintenance as much as possible.

I wasn't even aware of neoflex until two different printer company's tried to scare me away from it got me wondering why so I checked it out was blown away with the quailty of prints and the company, mainly Pete kwon and neofather peter choi, I can see why other companies are scared of AA they cant be beat in a fair fight or even by using scare tactics. Iam so so glad I have a neoflex and the backing of the neofamily I truly feel my dream is in reach.

Thx

I myself had problems with lies from Mr. Belk at Axiom. A few years ago he sold me a supposedly reconditioned MS-One printer. The thing never worked and never printed 1 shirt. Instead of giving my money back he decided to try to pressure us into buying a brother dtg and out of the "goodness of his heart" would give us half the money for the MS-One back towards his brother. Figuring why would I trust him again, I bought a NeoFlex and never looked back. I was out a lot of money for the MS-One, but in the end Mr. Belk lost more since I bought a new six head embroidery machine, and have bought lots of supplies, and he will never get one cent from me again.

I lurk these forums and for the most part really enjoy the discussions held here without feeling the need to chime in...

In this case I do have to say that Brad Belk was great to work with when I purchased my GT a couple years ago.

At the time I appreciated Brad's blunt and somewhat humorous approach to the transaction. Looking back I could see how his personality might not be for everyone. But I still happily purchase my inks and other supplies from Axiom.

There will always be a certain amount of bias and a first impression can make or break a business relationship. So I get where you guys are coming from. Just wanted to throw my two cents in and say that I don't think Brad is the bully he's being made out to be.

no one has made him out to be a bully. according to the e-mail posted in this thread, he said that parts won't be available for the 4880, and what good is a great looking print if the printer can't be fixed. these are lies! so, at the minimum, he's a liar. he may be a nice guy, and your relationship with him may be excellent, but he's still using untruths to try to sell his product. it's one thing to question aspects of a certain printer, eg. pros/cons, but it's another thing to make up misleading stories to "scare" someone away from one product just so you can sell them on yours.
