Reading another post in a different section lead us to the idea that we thought to share as a possible entry level project to cut and sew. Instead of fighting the dreaded black shirt issue why not try something unique by taking a plain black shirt and add to it a full dye sub pocket? Heck you could even place the pocket at a different angle or location for a unique effect. The cost to print and sew a pocket would be well under $2.00 and may make a simple t-shirt unique. We are going to do a couple next week and will share pics.

I like it. I definitely prefer a pocket on my shirts. I'll anxiously be awaiting pics.
That's an awesome idea and use for sublimation.
I design and sew for a small active wear label that probably wouldn't use 100 poly shirts or vapor apparel, but could totally rock accents that would take sublimation.

Hey Guys,

On-line Jerseys that is just completely ingenious I just can't wait to come up with some worthy designs and start!!! I'm sure everyone or most of us at some point have thought of dyesubbing a bit of poly or poly-blend and attaching that to a cotton shirt...but it's just not the same is it - but my friends this idea is in a class all by itself.

Well done for keeping your creative thinking cap on! :)

Anyone had luck with this? I think it's a great idea, but talked to some fabric people who were skeptical about cotton / poly differences in shrinkage and color matching, especially after multiple laundry loads. If someone finds a good soft poly that holds up after being sewn as a pocket on a cotton shirt, though, I'd love to hear about it.
