I used to own a wide format graphics shop. Im well versed in vinyl. My wife is an incredible graphic artist and has the opportunity to make small run, one off design shirts. We want to get started slow so that if it only ever becomes a hobby, no one is worried.
For the most part, one color shirts are we will do. I just want a nice vinyl cutter, a nice rip program, and a good heat press. Any and all recommendations are welcome. I sold my company in 2012 and have no clue how the industry has progressed.
I would love to know the best tshirts to buy, the vinyl to use, the best techniques, and any other useful insights you guys have. Im here to learn. I appreciate any effort you put in to helping me succeed.
