Looking for an emulsion that is somewhat forgiving on exposure times for primarily plastisols. We are using Ulano QTX and have used Chroma Blue and Saatichem Textile PV in the past. We are a small company and would rather spend more time exposing than cleaning blowouts. Thanks.

I switched from QTX to Imagemate PC 701. High solids, quick exposure, easy reclaimability.

You probably want to look into a diazo or dual cure emulsion--most photopolymers won't work well for you if you can't nail down your exposure variables.

ScreenFoo is correct. A duel cure will give you a wide latitude but be warned that is you are using a 500 watt work light for exposure then get ready for some very long exposure times.

We use qtx. If it's a long run we do 2/2. Under 500 we never had an issue with it. Actually, we never have any issues with qtx, we just use 2/2 if we know the screen is a keeper for reprints, or may end up being a long run.
We are getting ready to try the nazdar clone of qtx. Cheaper. We do mostly 18x20 id newmans, so don't use a whole lot per screen, so the cost differential is minimal vs. bigger screens.
We use it on our manual and auto. Amergraph exposure unit.
Maybe we're just too lazy to change off what works for us. Lazy good. Work bad.
