I'd wouldn't buy the joystick type without trying it out with a screen in the clamp with an image to try to register. You have to use both hands to use it, so it's a little different than regular X-Y-Z style micros. There are those who have them and say, once you learn how to use them, they're great. On the other hand, the X-Y-Z type are tried and true, if they're made by a reputable manufacturer and have tight tolerances.
