Thanks for your reply, but I'm looking for anyone that has used the brand RAPOS metallized thread, which is a 60 weight polyester thread wrapped with mylar. I've never used it before and would like feedback before trying it.

Many times metal thread is an problem.
You must make tests for :
Needles
Thread adjustments(upper & under)
Speed
Many machines have an parameter :
Frame angle start
Set to maximum value.

Yes, I am aware of this. However, the company's claim is "Unlike other metallic threads, the RAPOS cones are polyester core wrapped in Mylar. This makes them stronger so the thread does not break as often, eliminates metallic flaking of normal metallic thread cones, and runs smoothly through your embroidery machines."

So I'm looking for anyone that has worked with this specific brand.
