Metal Halide E40 fitting
Hi
I am searching for a metal halide bulb that fits a hydroponics kit a friend gave me. I have an e40 fitting and a 1000w ballast. When I was sourcing a bulb a couple of them said that the 1000w bulbs they had blocked UV light but put out light in the 380-480 range.
This to me sounds like it will not be suitable for exposing.
Does anyone know of a brand or bulb name i can search for that will fit my set up.
