We bought a Roland Versacamm a few years ago to meet the demand for short run t-shirt printing but also for the wide format capabilities since we print banners, stickers, etc. as well. Since it’s a printer/cutter we’ll print/cut full color graphics on thermoflex vinyl for folks needing 1-10 t-shirts and they seem to love it. We set their expectation and show them what heat pressed vinyl looks/feels like and after that no problems. Since we do 1000s of screen printed t-shirts I was a little wary of using vinyl due to how stiff it is (on large graphics) but folks needing just a few tees quick seem to not mind. Do many of you who have wide format printer/cutter offer that service? Was curious what you charge if so. For a full color front we’ll be around $20 (we supply t-shirt) and $15 if they supply t-shirt. I have some pics of shirts we’ve done this way but would love to see what others have done and what you charge.
