Manual Open TransPro Select Auto Cap Press

I just purchased a TransPro Select Auto Cap Press. I often do 2 colors and only want to press for 1 second on 1st color to reduce shrinkage then apply my 2nd color. My question is, how do you force the press to open as I want to keep my time set for the normal 1 color presses and when heating finalized the design.
