OK guys, the picture speaks for itself. On the far left of the original image, the middle is production mode and the far right is regular run high res mode. Obviously the colors are WAY off. What is up here! PLEASE HELP!

Looks like Yellow is getting cut way back/out.

NO, nozzle check yet, but just ran something else with alot of green in it in high rez mode, and it printed no yellow, everything green is now blue/blueish......

dumb question, how do I run a nozzle check? AND if the yellow is bad/clogged, how do I fix that? BUT IF the yellow IS clogged, why did it print just fine in production mode?

First do the nozzle check. To answer your question. High res puts down a lot more white. So if your yellow is cut way back the white shows thru a lot more.

the nozzle check is for your printer like an EKG for your heart. i'm not a doctor, so that analogy may not work. :)

there is no point in running more prints until you get your nozzle check showing all 8 channels. you will just waste ink, shirts, and time. it may be a simple head clean is all that is needed. check your lines to make sure you don't have gaps in the ink.

Yupp, NEOlex here. New to the neo family, but loving it!

OK, so my nozzel check shows like this...

WHITE, WHITE, blank, black, spotty yellow(almost blank), Magenta, Cyan, Black.

Looks like I've lost two white channels and the yellow......

How do I fix this??? what steps do I take to clean/reopen the printhead? In training, I was told not to wipe the printhead in my daily clean. Id that right?

Unfortunately, right now, I do not use my neoflex as much as I should. I was use to using my brother GT541 a few times every few week for production runs. That being said, I still keep it on and set at every 4 hours for a cleaning cycle and I also do the daily morning clean on it still.

I make sure to at least print something each day if I dont have a production run. and I make sure Its using the white.

I have had issue3s in the past with clogged print heads with my brother, because of bad humidity in my workspace, but since then I bought a humidifier and a humidity gauge, I keep it at 50% now.

Only bad thing I think I am doing is not being around on the weekends and when I come in on monday, my humidifier is out of water, gauge is down to 30%.

Is my head clogged? IS there a way to manually clean the heads on this machine?

Thanks, the way I am looking at the forum I couldn't tell. Yeah things change when adding white ink. As 23 said. The light cleaning to start and see if you get anywhere. What does anybody else think about a head soak where the machine is unplugged. Head released moved to center of printer. A tray of cleaning solution is then raised to cover the bottom 1/8 inch of the printhead. Fluid needs to be changed several times in first few minutes and edge of head swabbed to remove debris. Also have cleaning solution warm, not hot.
Soak for about 1 hour and see how you do. Also put some cleaning solution in capping station to prevent drying out.
Sean? Easier than pulling the head.

Thanks all!

I did a power clean and it cleared it all up, I have a regular looking nozzle check now. Simple as that, its just the first time I had to do that. I now know. I also really appreciate all the reply posts and links to helpful info.

You can also pre-soak your print head in CPS solution (red stuff) as a prelude to a full waterfall/reverse flush. If there's troublesome white ink causing issues, this should loosen things up so that you minimize the possibility of de-lamination of the print head when your cascades and reverse flushes. If and when you remove the print head for this type of cleaning,....use scotch tape to seal off the terminals where the ribbon cables connect. A little liquid in those terminals is bad mojo,...as in down for the count, bad mojo.
