Made in USA claims for printed vinyl products?

I posted this on myversacamm also and wanted some input from this forum as well.

When we create a product of our own with non apparel media such as phototex or seramark and market it can we put Made in USA on it even though the media we print on is made overseas? I know with apparel you must indicate the country of origin but this being non apparel I am not sure of any issues.

If there are no regulations for your products you have to abide by, and the majority of your media is made outside the U.S., seems it would be more honest to state 'Assembled in the U.S.' instead.

I don't know if assembled will work since there is no assembly. It's just printing my design and cutting done here in the US on wall graphic material. The customer just peels and sticks.
Well, how about 'Designed & Printed in the U.S.'?
