Hi Everyone - I have been desperately trying to figure out why my brother machine suddenly stopped changing needles.
The machine is set to needle 1. I would setup a simple 2 color design and as soon the machine is ready to jump to needle 2,it stops and makes this squeezy sound and starts showing Error E-07 on the screen. The operating software displays " Needle Bar Case Locked". I tried to manually turn the pulley towards other needles but it only goes to needle 3 and gets extremely difficult to turn. I tried several designs assuming its a problem with the file but iI am coming across the same issue. The machine stitches on needle 1 perfectly fine but as soon as the color change happens, baaam,stops and I get the error message.
Has anyone experienced this issue with this model? If someone could help that would be greatly appreciated.

Not familiar with those models but could possibly be the color change motor... You probably need to figure out why it becomes difficult to move the head - that may have caused your color change motor to burn out...

Something is in a bind on either head 1 or one of the other heads. Do you have any take up levers higher then the others?

Thank you all for your replies. I checked on the levers last night and found out that one of the levers was higher than the rest on head 2; therefore, hindering the needles from moving and giving me the needle lock error.
Now I am having another issue with the presser foot. i was tracing a design when the presser foot hit the hoop. The presser foot bar is now stuck up and the only way I can get it down if I manually do it. The machine starts and makes a squeezy noise 3 times before it loads another error message. Do you guys have any idea how to adjust the presser foot bar so it can go up and down?
