M&R Warranty?

1276 Views 9 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  RyanMoor
We plan on pulling the trigger on a new auto soon. I just read the warranty info for M&R, if I drop $40k on a new press and something breaks during the warranty period I have to pay the labor to fix it? Doesn’t seem right.

One of the MANY reasons we chose ROQ over M$R. If you haven't talked to Ryonet yet, you should.
Warranties are a problem area across this industry.
I am looking at getting a wide format solvent printer - not as big a purchase as your $40k M and R, but still the equivalent cost of a new car. It only comes with a 12 month warranty, with the option to buy a further 2 years of cover. To my mind a car is way more complex to make and contains way more materials than a wide format printer.

Would I spend £15k on a car without a 3 year warranty? Would I heck.
In 3 years of ownership we have spent zero on service calls or part. We added a second ROQ press a couple of months ago.

Well i took your advice and contacted Ryonet. Unfortunately it hasn’t gone so good.
I filled out the form and got an automated message to please schedule a time with ***** to discuss options.
I reply, right now I’d like some specs to see if it’s in our budget and what power/ air requirements are needed. I get an email back from someone different, everyone’s at the ISS show I’ll have someone get back to you in the next couple of days with the info.
Ok, so a couple of days go by and no info. I go to on-line sales scheduling and see ***** has a slot open today at 10:30EST for a consult so I book it and get a confirmation. 11am and no call so I go to chat.
First I’m told, “I think your appt. is 10:30 pacific time” to which I say, “not according to my email.” He tells me to hang and when he comes back he tells me someone will get in touch shortly, “ok, I’ve got people here right now so gotta go. No call! Hey I understand everyone gets busy just give me the courtesy of a call or email to say, “hey, can’t do it today.” Makes me nervous if I bought a ROQ and needed service

Well, that is not typical of our experience. I don't have his number with me but you need to speak to Nick Wood. If you are on facebook message him https://www.facebook.com/nw.we.5

I can get you his cell when I get to work if you would like.

I just sent this thread to Ryan Moor. [email protected]
I think this came at a perfect time where our entire team was at the ISS show, no excuse, Ross reached out to you to see how we can pick up the ball, thanks for the heads up! You can also reach out to me directly at [email protected]
I did receive a call & email from Ross on Friday, unfortunately I was crazy busy so I was going to reply this weekend.
We haven't committed to anything yet so I'm still interested in talking to someone about a Roq.
