I am looking to upgrade my cutter to a servo machine with ARMS. I have been going back and forth between a Vinyl Express QE6000 with LXI Cloud and a Saga with Dragoncut. I plan to use the machine to cut sign and shirt vinyl. I'd also like to be able to print a sublimation design to be pressed onto Sublidecal or tshirt transfers and then cut them with ARMS system.

Here is the concern:

Signwarehouse has a package deal for the cutter with LXI, but they cannot tell me if the program will allow me to print to my Epson WF30. I plan to print with that machine and later cut the material. Cost is at 1470.22 with extras.

The Saga is $1538.00 with the Dragoncut and I KNOW it will cut after printing no problem. No extras with this at all.

Does anyone know if LXI will drive the epson wf30? I've been using Flexi 7 for years and am concerned about the learning curve for Dragoncut. I also know Flexi 7 won't print to a desktop printer from the production manager since there is no way to upgrade for devices made in the past few years. I am also not familiar with the Saga brand. Any help would be appreciated.

Well I should have posted sooner. :) Due to the great deal, and phenomenal customer service, from member BrianHahn of Cutter Pros, I am purchasing the Saga Servo system with DragonCut. Brian was able to answer all my questions, very quickly, and put together a package I am comfortable with. (price, materials, software, etc.). I spoke with several companies and Cutter Pros was the only one to respond so quickly and they actually knew what they were talking about. I'll post a review of the equipment and software once I receive it.

Dragoncut and cutter

Brian is a great guy and I know you will be very satisfied with your purchase and service. Please leave a review when you have it all sorted out.
Unless there is an objection, I'm going to chronicle my experience from start to finish.

Received the cutter etc today. all packaged very well. The stand is sturdy and assembly was easy. A little time consuming, but better that than flimsy in my opinion.

The cords are included, albeit a little short on the USB cable. The directions are an online option for PDF download. Three is a quick set up guide which directions you to the glossary on the site and the specific location. Very well prepared, and very easy to follow instructions.

The software is a down load for the DragonCut. So far I'm about 35 minutes into the download. I have high speed cable internet, so it's a little disappointing. That said, It may just be due to my urge to try this machine out.

Hopefully I can get it running this evening.

We should have you for a training session on perhaps tomorrow or Wednesday if you have the time.

Make sure to watch all the training videos at DragonCut.cn since you have the ARMS version.
Once again Brian, you amaze me with your response and service. I may take you up on that if I can get home from the office in time. With the current instructions and manuals, I'm fairly confident I can get the basics, but a little help is always appreciated.
